Digital Printing: All our fabrics are coloured using digital printing technology — vivid, crisp prints produced on state-of-the-art machinery, with rich colour depth and high-resolution detail. Washability: Machine washable on a low-temperature cycle; easy to clean and keeps its shape. Colourfast, resistant to sunlight and washing, and will not pill. It keeps its like-new appearance for a long time and does not stretch out of shape with use. Durability: Highly resistant to abrasion. Choose the Right Fabric for Your Project
At Nilstar®, our digitally printed upholstery fabrics are available
in different fabric types to suit different project requirements.
Each option represents a different fabric type, not simply an
additional feature applied to the same fabric.
Please select the fabric that best matches your intended use.
1. Easy Clean Fabric
Designed for easier cleaning and everyday maintenance.
This option is suitable for projects where ease of care is a priority.
Easy Clean performance does not automatically mean that the fabric
meets fire-retardancy requirements.
2. UK & EU Certified FR Fabric
A flame-retardant fabric option for projects with specific
fire-safety requirements. This may be particularly relevant to
hotels, restaurants, cafés, bars and other commercial hospitality
interiors.
Always check the applicable fire-safety requirements for your project
and confirm that the finished digitally printed fabric meets them.
Do not assume that every printed fabric is suitable for every
commercial application.
3. Pet Friendly Fabric
A separate fabric option intended for environments where
pet-friendly performance is important. Pet Friendly does not
automatically indicate Easy Clean or FR certification.
4. Standard Printed Fabric
Our standard digitally printed upholstery fabric option.
Choose this option when its specifications meet your project
requirements and no additional fabric performance is required.
Do not assume that Standard Printed Fabric has FR certification,
Easy Clean performance or Pet Friendly properties unless these
are explicitly confirmed in the product specifications.
Important Information Before Ordering
These are different fabric options.
Please review your project requirements carefully before selecting
a fabric type. Selecting one option does not automatically provide
the properties or certifications associated with another.
For hotel, restaurant, café, bar and other commercial projects,
please confirm the required fire-safety classification and the
suitability of the finished printed fabric before ordering.

Actual requirements may differ depending on furniture dimensions,
fabric width, pattern repeat, design matching, upholstery technique

We recommend allowing an additional 5–10% for patterned fabrics or
projects requiring pattern matching.
